Money raised by running The Sharrow Vale Market three times a year is used to fund our project. We also apply for grants for some specific projects.
Members of the SVCA nurture and maintain this hidden corner of green and tranquility on Eastwood Road in Sharrow Vale. The pocket park enables you to enjoy the beauty of bees, flowers, vegetable and wildlife. Come long to explore the features of the balustrade. A lovely place to relax while you eat your fish and chips.
Have you seen the new saplings appear on our streets?

Fed up with the rubbish left around our area? We do a litter-pick every second Sunday of the month. Join in by meeting at the corner of Junction Road. It is a nice social event and surprisingly good fun!
Volunteers decorate our area with festive winter lights each year. See them in Hunter Bar school trees, The Lescar Hotel front garden, Stewart Road Car Park trees and on many of our street tree saplings.
